Almost Forgot
Don’t go see Crank if you suffer from motion sickness.
I felt ill within a few minutes. Closing my eyes didn’t help, and ended up leaving about halfway through the movie. (The nice people at Hollywood Theaters were nice enough to give me a cup of ice to help settle my stomach.)
It was bad enough that it eventually made Michael sick as well, and he had to leave before the movie was over.

Were you sitting close to the front? I find if I sit closer up, I can get nauseous pretty easily, no matter what I’m watching.
How was the first half, anyway? I was thinking of catching it.

I *never* sit close to the front–because I know I get sick. We may ever have been a row back from where we normally sit. They seemed to have used handheld cameras to help reinforce the idea of how sick and strange Stratham’s character felt.
So wobbly-type camera + Everything moving REALLY fast = BLEEEEHHH
The first part was interesting, though *very* violent. And like I said, it make me sick almost immediately, so I only *really* saw the first ten minutes or so. The rest was (close my eyes close my eyes close my eyes can I peek? NO! BLEEEHHH!)

I know what you mean, I felt the same way watching Blair Witch. Had to close my eyes through chunks of it to avoid upchucking, all due to that shaky handheld business. And I was watching it at home on the small screen, too.
If Crank is going to be the same experience, I can wait til it reaches our movie network — i’m not paying extra dough for vertigo. Thanks for the headsup. This internests thing can be pretty useful sometimes.
