The Cycle
Any Steven Brust fans out there will want to check out this rendition of The Cycle.
I think I’d be either a Tsalmoth or a Lyron. But I want to be an Issola. Too bad I can’t achieve the grace required for the courtliness.
Let’s see… here’s a tentative classification of people I know (I’m not going only by the chart, but also from characters in the books):
erin: Tiassa
My brother: Orca
S: Hawk
Michael: Vallista
C at War on Folly: Hawk or Chreotha
jedijawa: Iorich
Andy: Dzur or Dragon
Daniel: Yendi or Jhereg Lyorn (I think he has a good bit of Jhereg though)
Hmm… maybe I’ll play some more with this later….

Funny I saw Lyorn and thought “Daniel” but I do not know the characters you are talking about

So Daniel’s more of a Lyorn? Now that I think about it, you may be right. But I still think he has some Yendi tendencies.
But I also think that he’d make a good Jhereg. They’re the criminal masterminds. ;)

I’m going to have to say thanks … but I reserve the right to change that once I figure out who or what this Iorich thing is. :-)

That means you need to read Steven Brust’s Vlad Taltos series. They’re an awful lot of fun.
Michael is almost finishing re-reading the series, before he reads the latest book, Dzur. He keeps laughing aloud and reading me passages–despite the fact that I’ve read those books more times than he has. :)

I did find some solace in your link. :-)
I will put them on my list. But there are so many things already on my list. What to do, what to do…

Well, if it helps any, they’re quick reads. Think Robert B. Parker’s Spenser crossed with… ummm… (searching for a comparison)… a really cool fantasy series you’ve read. :)
