This is great! Wonderful way to pick up the threads established in previous segments.

I like the cold, detached thought processes of not-Sophie and I’m glad you killed the whiny treacherous mother. ;) It’s also a good idea getting not-Sophie to wake up, talk to and co-exist with true-Sophie.

And yay for Blink! He’s going to be awesome. I keep thinking of the white mice (rats?) in Hitchhikers’s Guide – hugely intelligent, advanced projections of beings from another dimension. :)

I decided that I really liked not-Sophie and her possibilities. I also liked Blink, but needed to explain the rage Blink felt sometimes when not-Sophie looked at him. Thus, the torture of Blink.

But mostly I really disliked the Mom and was wanting to kill her off so I didn’t have to see her anymore. Someone brings her back from the dead? I’ll just kill her off again next time my turn comes around. (laugh)

OK, now that I’m an awake person, I love how not-Sophie has taken charge. I’ve got no problem with Mom being a casualty. Hey, shit happens. I’m not sure what not-Sophie’s plans are, but its nice that she’s so competent. Everybody’s getting fleshed out nicely.
