   That cartoon is funnier than you think. He meant to say “Banzai” (??) as in “Tennou Heika Banzai” (?? ?? ??) - “hurrah for the Imperial Army” - the Imperial Japanese Army battle cry.

   What he actually said was “bonsai” (??) - as in little tree you prune every year. Took me a minute to recognize the samurai and the connection to “banzai”, and not think he was talking about making compost out of the BS on the paper.

   And I don’t have a clue how to turn kanji on. If it’s a server setting, I’ve never come across it.

   Heh. That reminds me… one of my favorite cult movies (therefore not expect to be good) is Buckaroo Banzai and the Eighth Dimension.
