Missed cat blogging last week because I was sick.
However, you don’t get double cat pictures to make it up. In fact, only one of the pictures I took was even halfway decent.
Stupid light.

Last night, shortly before sunset, I heard this horrible noise coming from the kitchen. It turns out there was a squirrel on the outside window ledge, just screaming at Widget, LuLu and Teufel. The cats, amazingly enough, were sitting calmly in a row just watching. When I walked in, they turned in unison to look at me, the question in their eyes, “WTF is wrong with that guy?”
I was going to run for the camera but the squirrel saw me and scampered.

Do you every get that strange growly/chirping noise from any of your cats? When the birds (or any other creature) gets really close, Kat hunkers down (as if that would make a difference) and makes his strange “I see prey” noise.
It’s both cute and disturbing.
