Postcards from All Over
As I mentioned yesterday, we have a collection of postcards on our refrigerator. Postcards from various places all over the world (although we’re lacking China and Japan and South and Central America), postcards from all over the US, and postcards simply because I like them or am amused by them.
So here is proof for Anne that I received her postcard. Also? S? In case you were feeling left out, your postcard is up there as well.

Glad I was able to add to your collection!

Woo… someone sent you a postcard from space! That should beat China/Japan/non-N America any day.

Nah. Unfortunately not. That was actually one of mine. I sent out several with the same picture, with messages like, “Here’s where we spent our vacation! Strange place! Don’t drink the water!” etc etc and so on and so forth.
Postcard was actually from the Air & Space Museum in DC.

Michelle - if you want a postcard from Paris, email your snail mail address to John-the-Scientist. I’m heading there this afternoon. Will be back on Friday, though.
I’m likely heading to Japan and possibly one or more of the PRC / Korea / ROC in September, so you may get a trifecta out of me in the fall, as well. Is either “China” OK? (I prefer the ROC, but you know, I’m somewhat to the right of Atilla the Hun).

John,
I don’t care where they come from. Postcards = AWESOME!

John, I forgot to ask if you recognized the big magnet at the bottom of the fridge. ;)

Your postcard was mailed from my hotel today. And yes, I do recognize the magnet. Ours also had it written on the fridge in Sharpie, just in case someone nicked the magnet. Like you did …

I didn’t nick the magnet–they send us enough magnets that we had two on each refrigerator.
I figured no one would miss the excess. :)
