And thoroughly tired of being in the car.
I’ll have to check the trip odometer, so I can see how many miles we were in the car since Thursday morning.
Now… food of some sort.
ADDENDUM the First:
922.4 miles since Thursday morning.
I think when we go to replace this car, I want something a little larger than our Corolla. As I spent almost half the trip(s) in the back seat, a little more space would be nicer.

What I really want to know is why sitting on my butt in a car (or an airplane) for so many hours makes me so tired? It’s not like I expended the slightest amount of actual physical energy.

Well, I know one reason I’m tired is I rarely sleep well when I’m away from home. Too much light. So that makes me tired. I personally tend to get dazed in the car (which is why Michael drives on long trips) so that doesn’t help. Sitting still actually makes me physically uncomfortable, so that doesn’t help anything. And then there are the events that lead to the travel in the first place, whatever they may be.
So there’s my answer!
