Why, would that be the sport that my alma mater is totally dominant in, on the NCAA level? You’ll notice that our brag sheet graciously mentions your school.
We’ve got a couple of alums that are headed that way too. Hopefully WV and AK can share some redneck love.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.
The University royally screwed up several years ago and demoted Riflery to a club sport.
There was a tremendous uproar, funding came in from outside sources, and the program was reinstated. So the dust is still settling from that dumbass move.
Never fear, I’m sure we’ll return to dominance in a couple years once rebuilding is complete! ;)
Well hell! She’s local to us. Lebanon PA isn’t far at all.

I believe you, but I have to say - NO WAY!!! They made it a CLUB SPORT?
WV MADE A SPORT INVOLVING GUNS A CLUB SPORT??!?!?!
The mind boggles.
I always think it’s funny that the two sports we’re actually competitive in are what you’d expect - hockey and rifle. And hockey can be pretty hit or miss.

Tania, I did mention the huge uproar didn’t I? And the fact that it was eventually fixed?
But yeah, pretty much the whole state said WTF?!!?? when Hardesty came out with that one.

Yes, it’s a real sport. Right up there with Biathlon, where you ski and shoot your gun. John (the super spouse) likes that one. He’s a former competitive XC skier, so he has his preferences.
