Took the day off from work, however, we were still out the door by 8:30, heading for the WV State Craft Fair at Ripley.
We met my brother and his wife at Parkersburg, and then continued together to Ripley. Most of what I ought I either bought right way or saw right way and bought later. My only mistake was not buying the dark blue hanging glass globe first thing, because I had to settle for a lighter blue one when I went back.
Michael somehow ended up with the camera while we were at the fair, so I only have a couple pictures.

The GPS says we’re off the road!
Because we were in the middle of a field.
Some of the sights in downtown Ripley.
We may have spent five hours driving today, but most of the trip looked like this.

Craft Fair? How fun! I usually poke around at the Farmer’s Market, and a few other places. But we don’t have anything as big as what you’ve got.

I don’t think anyone has a craft fair that big!
We rushed, and were still there more than three hours. Usually we’re there much longer, but we needed to hurry home.
Also, we didn’t get funnel cake. Had to save my appetite for crab cakes.

There was a funnel cake booth right behind me last night at the fireworks - it smelled so good! But I was strong. My favorite is elephant ears anyway.
Poor elephants. ;)

I can hardly believe that I left without eating funnel cake. Not sure what elephant ears are?
