Please Leave a Message after the Pithy Remark
We apologize, but we are unable to entertain you today.
Please accept one of the following excuses:
I am unable to be entertaining because the cat ate my mouse.
I am unable to be entertaining because 12 pounds of cat is demanding my attention.
I am unable to be entertaining because the cat got behind my computer and pulled out all the plugs.
I am unable to be entertaining because I cannot see my computer screen.
Once you have selected your desired excuse, please move into the lounge and relax until entertainment returns.

The elephants on your monitor are not to scale with the bugs. Unless they’re really cute elephants, or really freaky ass bugs. FYI. :D

Ahem.
They’re SHETLAND elephants!

[struggles to keep straight face]
Well unless they’re Micro Machine elephants, those are still the scariest bugs I’ve ever seen. I’m just sayin’
;)

I tried to leave a comment that just said, “Ook!” I got the following window:
Your comment was a bit too short. Please go back and try again.
Michelle, I do not need your server editing me. Ook! dammit.

Sorry.
Bad server! Bad!

The lounge is very comfy, but I cannot find any chocolate.
I am in NEED of chocolate, as my interview is today and I am already obsessing over it. Pictures of kitty are soothing, but the shetland elephants are kind of creeping me out.

I’m worried about this group. Seeing tiny elephants and things covered in giant bugs is a sign of the DTs. (I think I learned this from Warner Brothers cartoons made back in the days when alcoholism was funny and not a disease.)

Is it possible to be a teetotaler and still end up with DTs? Is chocolate withdrawal a known cause of DTs, or just waistband expansion?
Michelle, doesn’t it get messy down below your monitor, with all those elephant and bug droppings?

Kim, there is always chocolate at my place. Hope you found it!
The bugs eat the elephant droppings, and the cats eat the bugs. And the cats will pull things off my monitor, which is why they’re not supposed to be in the computer room when we aren’t around.
