I hadn’t gone to the link. But when I did, I made my spider really HUUUGE and I jumped up and down all over England BECAUSE I could. (Nothing personal, I like the English okay–they practically speak American.)
Did I hear you say I like music about spiders? I do:
Jeri: exactly! They’re useful and often misunderstood critters, spiders are, who would rather keep to themselves and eat critters that we humans consider pests.
A bit like snakes in that regard: people are scared and think they’re ooky, but you look at what a snake eats, and it’s critters that spread disease and ravage crops. Spiders, same deal.

Eric, it wasn’t even close. You were declared the winner by acclamation, no other candidates were considered worthy.

Well, you seem like spiders and music. And did you check out that spider thing I linked to? That’s a fricking creepy spider.

Arrgh. “seem to like” not “seem like”

Y’know Eric, for awhile I actually thought I’d imagined the existence of the song “Boris the Spider”

Oh, no. And originally Keith Moon sang it. A fun song.

As a former and frequent visiting Alaskan, I like spiders because they eat mosquitoes, the Alaskan state bird.

Spiders are our octopedal friends.

Oh, I totally agree that spiders are good and our friends, which is why I have Michael catch them and put them outside.
But the thought of all those little legs crawling on me…
(shudder)
OK. I may throw up now.
