    I have a similar issue except the tail fur is about 10″ long, and the tail wags.

    Because my mutts think that THEY are the approved laptop edition, not that stupid rectangular metal thingy that I tap on.

    Oh, the tail was wagging all right. Grandmom laughed because although he was standing *beside* the laptop, he managed to keep his tail in front of the screen while twitching it back and forth.

    It was really quite impressive in an incredibly annoying way.
