Sunday Flower Pr0n: San Antonio Edition

Here is some more flower pr0n from San Antonio. It was once again weird to be somewhere warm in October. When we left Morgantown (at 4 freaking AM) it was in the 40s. Temperatures in San Antonio were in the 80s and 90s.

To be honest, that’s way too warm for me, but it was nice to see so many flowers in bloom, and I did my best to take pictures of the ones I thought interesting–especially the ones that I never see in West Virginia.

Riverwalk

Here is some hot butterfly on flower action.

I really liked these red orange flowers. Not a clue what they are though.

HemisFair Park

More butterfly on flower action, taken at HemisFair Park.

HemisFair Park

Here’s a gorgeous hibiscus (I think) at HemisFair park. It was extremely bright that day, so everything is a little overexposed.

HemisFair Park

Not sure what these flowers are either, but they were all over the Riverwalk.

This picture was taken at HemisFair Park.

I have no idea what these flowers were, but I thought they were fascinating looking.

The picture below the hibiscus is a bougainvillea – I recall that from Hawaii, it’s all over the place there, too.

I can’t help you with the others, though – although subtropical zone flowers sure are gorgeous!
