Friday Cat Blogging
It’s back to all Kat all the time apparently.
For someone who hates water, he’s pretty obsessed with the tub.

Good grief, I’ve come by ten times today and that dumb cat is still in the tub. Turn the water on, that get ‘em out of there.

Jim, if I was a sadist I’d give him a bath and get a recording of the racket he makes.
I, however, am not that much of a sadist, because my ears really aren’t up to it.

He’s a cat who lives in eternal hope that a drop of water will fall from the faucet. (And occasionally one probably does.)
Two dogs live in my daughter’s father’s house. Buck stares at the kitchen floor, in eternal hope that a tasty bit of meat will fall there. And occasionally one does, so he maintains vigilance. Minnie stares at the living room floor, in eternal hope that light will emerge from it. And occasionally it does, or at least it appear so to Minnie, when sunlight bounces off something and onto the floor. Sometimes it’s even her own dogtags. She tries to catch that light. She really goes nuts if someone shines a flashlight on the floor and jiggles it, but the ultimate is a laser pointer. If that’s pointed at the ground outside, she’ll try to dig to China to get to the source of that light, and she has to be stopped before she hurts herself. (See, she really is convinced the light is emerging from the floor or the ground.) But if there is no light forthcoming, she may just sit waiting for the light that she knows is down there somewhere.
Watching Buck and Minnie is just like looking at those pictures of Kat.
