Yes, there seemed to be a ganging up on Jim yesterday, which, IMHO, wasn’t deserved and reflected the past experience of the commentators more than if Jim’s joke was humorous or not.

Jim must have forgotten to wear his, “I am not your old boyfriend” t-shirt yesterday.

I have been denied cookies all day. Seriously. I tried to get one on my way back from a lunch meeting and the lady at the coffee shop discovered they were ALL OUT. And I WANTED ONE. But I COULDN’T HAVE ONE. They had scones and danishes, but NO COOKIES FOR ME. A private attorney who was in line behind me gently suggested I could get a scone, but even the lady who runs the coffee shop agreed SCONES =/= COOKIES. Which, meaning no disrespect for my colleague, is a lesson I thought Sesame Street had successfully imparted to EVERYBODY. I mean, there’s no such thing as a SCONE MONSTER, now, is there? Of course not. That would be silly.

Well FINE. I didn’t want a stoopid cookie anyway.
