Further Designing
Still working on the site. I’ve pretty much finished the “Books” section.
Obvious the main page is Movable Type, but all the categories (listed on the right side of the main page) I’ve redone. Nothing exciting as far as design goes, but I did get the text formatting exactly how I wanted it, with only a minimum of hair loss.
I’ve also updated some of the more geeky pages.
ADDENDUM the First: The book page really needs an image or something, doesn’t it?
ADDENDUM the Second: Morgantown Things that Are No More has been modified as has the rest of the Misc stuff
ADDENDUM the Third: I admit it. I’m rather pleased with the bullet for the Townies page.

I LOOOVE that Garak page, Meesh! I’d forgotten how many pearls of wisdom he had. Wow, I think I have found my avatar for life.

Oh, and if you want more Trek quotes, check out the Quote Wiki.

Garak is my absolute favorite character. I was crushed that they didn’t have an interview with him on Any of the DVDs.
I think that Andrew Robinson did a fantastic job with the Garak, and I always wished there were more episodes with him.
I notice that the Quote Wiki doens’t have many Garak quotes. Too bad. (laugh) They don’t know what they’re missing!
Though I’m also rather fond of “Death to the Opposition!” as a random DS9 quote. (giggling just thinking about it)

THere were two Garak quotes near the bottom (you already have them on your page tho). You’ve convinced me that he should be on the short list of fav Star Trek characters (i don’t think i’d have thot of him at all before today).

Garak is, far and away, my favorite Star Trek character. If we’re watching one of my favorite episodes, it most likely has Garak.
He’s just so…devious. And completely untrustworthy. Yet I can’t help but like him. And the more I watch episodes in which he appears, the more I like him.
I haven’t yet bought the “Garak” book that Andrew Robinson wrote, that fills in the details of Garak’s life.
But I’m tempted. :)
