Kentuck Knob

One of the things Anne wanted to do while she was here was go to either Falling Water or Kentuck Knob in Pennsylvania. As I’d gone to Falling Water over the summer and wasn’t enamored with it (liked the grounds, but the house didn’t do anything for me), so we went to Kentuck Knob, which was a later Frank Lloyd Wright house (later than Falling Water).

As a structure, I liked Kentuck Knob better. But I can’t say I’d particularly want to live in either house.

These windows were one of the things I did like.

Here you can see more of the little windows in context.

This is the view from the grounds at the back of the house. I wish the weather had been better so we could have wandered the grounds more, and I would have liked to have driven past that house and the tree lined lane.
