It’s been in the mid-to-high 90s to the low 100s here for some days, with only more of the same in the future. The humidity is always pretty low here, and has been freakishly lower yet, which makes the high temps pretty tolerable — except that the combination is very very very bad for the wildfires. Which seem to multiply every time there’s a thunderstorm which produces nothing but thunder & lightning. And when I say “here” I mean a good part of the state. I know Denver has been hit with several over-100 days in a row, and some smaller fires, and now there’s a nasty one near Garden of the Gods, and a new one today near Boulder.

Blech! It’s supposed to be about 90 here tomorrow, then go back to the low 80′s for highs.
