Why won’t she get out of my face?
Yes, Michael’s shins are apparently extremely comfortable.
Kat loves the laundry basket.
Kat has been hanging out with me in the basement.
He’s also been looming over me, standing on me, and getting in my face.
And yes, the bookshelves stretch along the entire wall up to the ceiling. There are similar shelves behind the camera.
Even though we use compact florescents, he still treats the light like a sun lap.
Large eyes, long whiskers, cute pink nose.
He’s even got the head tilt down. Cute! Cute! Cute!
Once again, the Kat is strangely attentive. However, I’m pretty sure that two weeks away in less than two months has something to do with it.

OMG! It’s a giant furry slug!
Even his paws are large.
Where were you on Monday evening?!
Why I Can’t Get Anything Done:
I told you Kat had been eerily affectionate recently.

His Furriness has beens strangely affectionate since we returned.
If I didn’t know better, I’d think he missed us.
Kat, hanging out.

When is the nice woman going to give me more treats?
(Note: Nice woman is not me. Nice woman is my grandmother.)
I am cute, even if I am underexposed.
I’m cute. I just can’t help myself.
I will not look at you. You are not worthy.
What on earth could that be?!
TGIF!
Kat, hanging out on the cat mat from Tania. Don’t look too closely or you see where all the cat fur in my house ends up.
Kit, thinking if she lies on the kitchen chairs, we won’t see her.
Despite the fact that I always find her there.
Why won’t this weirdo leave me alone?
Stop invading my privacy!
Because the post that is going to go up one minute after this was is depressing, here’s something a little more cheerful.
How can a happy cat not make you feel just a tiny bit better?
Yes, Kat is the more photogenic of the two. He also doesn’t blend into the floors the way she does, although that’s not a problem here in the basement.
For all his brutish tendencies, I still sometimes see Kat doing something and squeal, “He’s so cute!”
When he’s sleeping I try to squeal quietly.
Kit gets some attention this week.
But she has to share the spotlight with Michael on his birthday.
And with Grandmom, just because.
Kit pays very close attention to Grandmom throughout the day, for [...]
Once again, Kat steals the show.
I got my new camera! I got my new camera!
So here’s one of the first pictures taken with the new camera.
I also shot some flower pr0n, but Kat seems more appropriate on a Friday.
Came home from work today to find that Kat and Kit had received a package from Tania–I mean Skulker and Orphelia!
Boy were they excited!
But wait!

We’re out picking up Susan from the airport, so this seems somehow appropriate.
Happy Friday!
First I must walk over to the water bowl. Then I will walk over to you and bonk your leg with my head. Then I will walk away, then I will walk over to you and bonk your leg with my head.
BUT DO NOT PET ME!
Yes human? What do you want? You don’t like [...]
Mr. Furry used to do this all the time, but we hadn’t seen it for awhile. Apparently it’s because only Grandmom’s chair is appropriate now, and since she’s usually in it, he hasn’t been able to indulge in stretching out his front paws.
Now that it’s warm, Kat and Kit are spending more time curled up [...]
Missed cat blogging last week because I was sick.
However, you don’t get double cat pictures to make it up. In fact, only one of the pictures I took was even halfway decent.
Stupid light.
Here are Kat and Kit watching the bird feeder outside the living room window.
Here’s some Friday Cat blogging, partially as apology for all the cranky and lack of blogging earlier this week.
We let Kat hang out on the porch with us. He often tries to bolt out the door when the weather is nice, so on occasion we put him on a leash and let him hang out [...]
Fine. Fine. FINE!
Here’s your Friday cat blogging.
