Cry Wolf, Audible Edition (2008) Patricia Briggs narrated by Holter Graham

It makes me feel bad to admit it, but I much prefer Holter Graham as a narrator to Lorelei King. She just doesn’t have the range for male voices that other female narrators do, and the Mercy Thompson series has too many male characters for that not to be an issue.

But this was narrated by Holter Graham, and I very much liked his narration of the story. Except for his pronunciation of the Marrock. That bugged me.

I do wonder, however, why Asil has an accent by neither Bran nor Samuel does. I suppose it has to do with them both being singers and musicians. That isn’t something to do with the narration, not really, but with the story itself. Perhaps the Moor feels that having an accent better fits his persona.

Regradless, with the exception of the pronunciation of the Marrock, I did very much like this narration.
