{"id":11978,"date":"2014-11-02T10:36:45","date_gmt":"2014-11-02T15:36:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/klishis.com\/notreally\/?p=11978"},"modified":"2014-11-02T10:36:45","modified_gmt":"2014-11-02T15:36:45","slug":"hiking-wv-harpers-ferry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/klishis.com\/notreally\/archives\/11978","title":{"rendered":"Hiking WV: Harpers Ferry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last Saturday (because this Saturday was rainy) we went to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/hafe\/index.htm\">Harpers Ferry<\/a> to try and catch some of the last leaf change in the state.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;d considering walking on that part of the Appalachian Trail, but instead ended up taking the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hikingupward.com\/OMH\/MarylandHeights\/\">Maryland Heights Trail<\/a> which had a gorgeous overview of the Shenandoah River, Potomac River, and Harpers Ferry.<\/p>\n<p>There were a TON of people all over the place, including at least two families attempting to take strollers up the Maryland Heights Trail.
