Mostly flat and wide, with only a few rocky sections.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/random_michelle\/18301246042\" title=\"20150530_New_River_Gorge_026 by Michelle Klishis, on Flickr\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/c1.staticflickr.com\/9\/8811\/18301246042_d783d69bde_z.jpg?resize=427%2C640&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"427\" height=\"640\" alt=\"20150530_New_River_Gorge_026\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After discussion and referring the maps, we took the Butcher Branch trail out to the Fayette Trail, making a small loop off the Long Point trail, giving us a slightly longer hike, and letting us see a little more of the area.<\/p>\n<p>Then we drove to the other side of the river, and did half the Endless Wall trail. We decided upon half because the only way to make a loop is to walk back to the starting point along the road, and I didn&#8217;t particularly want to do that, so we turned around at Diamond Point and came back.
