Which is why we took a meander despite the fact that I still feel pretty crappy from this cold.<\/p>\n<p>Cathedral took a substantial amount of damage during hurricane Sandy, but the trails are all clear&#8211;and the uprooted trees are fascinating.<\/p>\n<p>Location: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cathedralstatepark.com\/\">Cathedral State Park<\/a><br \/>\nTrails: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cathedralstatepark.com\/cathedral.pdf\">Cathedral, Giant Hemlock, Partridge Berry Trails<\/a><br \/>\nDistance: <a href=\"https:\/\/klishis.com\/notreally\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/2015-09-26-Cathedral-State-Park.html\">1.8 miles<\/a><br \/>\nElevation: 2438 &#8211; 2626 feet<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve ever tried to photograph the woods, you know it&#8217;s pretty difficult to get a pictures from within the forest that shows the majesty of what you&#8217;re seeing.
