Two chairs are finished, two are waiting the arrival of the clear epoxy I ordered.<\/p>\n<p>First, what was hiding when I went to recover the seats:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a data-flickr-embed=\"true\"  href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/random_michelle\/31972264463\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" title=\"Oh. Now I&#x27;m thinking I&#x27;ll leave these old layers for a future surprise.\"><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>I found three different fabrics.<\/p>\n<p>Of course I left them underneath for the next person to go WTF?<\/p>\n<p>I did NOT strip the wood, just thoroughly cleaned and sanded. I&#8217;m going to have to purchase a small can of light oak stain for parts of the two remaining chairs that I&#8217;m repairing.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the chair that has the busted back. I am super nervous about how the repairs will turn out, but I realized it can&#8217;t be worse than how it was. Plus, someone cracked the end of a support bar while working with the legs.
