The books of April!<\/p>\n<p>One of my favorite books last month was actually a new release! <a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/10099\"><em>Why Kill the Innocent<\/em><\/a> by <a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/Books\/mystery\/harriscs.php\">C.S. Harris<\/a> is the latest entry in the Sebastian St. Cyr series, and like the last several books, it&#8217;s dark in places. But it&#8217;s also good&#8211;and the darkness is very much a part of that time.\u00a0 There were two audible books I really enjoyed, the first was <a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/10493\"><em>The Rook, Audible Version<\/em><\/a> by <a class=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/Books\/authors\/OMalley_Daniel.php\">Daniel O\u2019Malley<\/a> which is just as good as an audible book as it was to read, and <a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/10481\"><em>Cat o\u2019 Nine Tales, Audible Version<\/em><\/a> by <a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/Books\/authors\/hunter_faith.php\">Faith Hunter<\/a> and narrated by Khristine Hvam. I really love her narration of Faith Hunter&#8217;s books, and since I&#8217;d finished listening all the Jane Yellowrock books, all I had left were this short-story collection.<\/p>\n<p>I also very much enjoyed the <a class=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/Books\/romance\/Charles_KJ.php\">K.J. Seven re-reads, which is also seven books I have in multiple formats (either paper and ebook or ebook and audio).<\/p>\n<p>Fantasy : 10<br \/>\nMystery : 8<br \/>\nRomance : 10<br \/>\nComic : 1<\/p>\n<p>Genre-wise, there was lots of overlap of genres, but still mostly fantasy and mystery, which are my primary favorite genres.<\/p>\n<p>Male : 3<br \/>\nFemale : 8<br \/>\nInitials : 5<\/p>\n<p>And author-wise three male authors, and thirteen female authors, five books of which were written by women published under initials instead of a female name.<\/p>\n<p>And those are the books of April!
