But you already knew that.<\/p>\n<p>I read some good books this month&#8211;even a newish release!&#8211;but I re-read a lot, so only a few new reads I want to mention.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2YOhjZf\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Turning-Darkness-Into-Light.jpg?resize=196%2C300\" alt=\"Turning Darkness Into Light\" width=\"196\" height=\"300\" align=\"right\" \/><\/a>Oddly enough, it was all fantasy that floated to the top this month.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/12945\"><em>NPCs<\/em><\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/Books\/authors\/Hayes_Drew.php\">Drew Hayes<\/a>  is the first book in his Spells, Swords, &amp; Stealth series, and it is (unsurprisingly) <em>wonderful<\/em>. It&#8217;s sword and sorcery, except that the actions of D&#038;D gamers are able to affect the people who live in this world. Like everything Drew Hayes, it&#8217;s a delight.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/13242\"><em>Turning Darkness Into Light<\/em><\/a> by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/Books\/authors\/brennanm.php\">Marie Brennan<\/a> is a sequel of sorts to her Lady Trent series, where we follow Lady Trent&#8217;s granddaughter, as she and a friend attempt to translate some ancient tablets that were discovered. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/12959\"><em>The House in the Cerulean Sea<\/em><\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/Books\/romance\/Klune_TJ.php\">TJ Klune<\/a> is a fantasy that seems like it wants to be YA (since many of the characters are teenagers) but with all the bureaucracy, really isn&#8217;t quite one.
