\"Monster,<\/a>Slow reading month. Partially because we’ve been hiking and partially because I’m dealing with stuff-including medication changes (Ah, brain chemistry) that are messing with me.<\/p>\n

I finally read Alexis Hall’s Prosperity series, which was wonderful. I’ll note that there are stories in the second book that really didn’t work for me (because: me), but overall it was just another reminder of how delightful Alexis Hall is.<\/p>\n

I’m dropping Joanne Fluke’s Hannah Swensen series for awhile. Mostly because I got tired of the romantic triangle. I tend to dislike romantic triangles as a trope, so extending one over multiple books in a series is just: UGH.<\/p>\n

For comfort I reread The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells. Because: Murderbot.<\/p>\n

And I read another non-fiction book! Monster, She Wrote: The Women Who Pioneered Horror and Speculative Fiction<\/em> (2019) Lisa Kr\u00f6ger and Melanie R. Anderson. This seems like the perfect book for Eric.<\/p>\n
