I have later books in the series, but wanted to do the reread I&#8217;d need to get back into the series.<\/p>\n<h5>Nightside by <a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/Books\/authors\/greens.php\">Simon R. Green<\/a><\/h5>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/165\"><em>Hex and the City<\/em><\/a> (2005) (#4\/12) [Rating: <span style=\"color: #ccffcc;\">8<\/span>], <a href=\"https:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/179\"><em>Paths Not Taken<\/em><\/a> \u00a0(2005) (#5\/12 -complete) [Avg Rating: <span style=\"color: #ffff99;\">6.5<\/span>]<\/p>\n<p>(reread <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">3x<\/span>) (Supernatural Mystery)<\/p>\n<p>As previously mentioned, I haven&#8217;t read the last book in this series, but I WILL. Someday. Up until that last book I was reading them as soon as they were published.<\/p>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/226\"><em>Dead as a Doornail<\/em><\/a> (2005) <a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/Books\/authors\/harris_charlaine.php\">Charlaine Harris<\/a><\/h5>\n<p>(Sookie Stackhouse #5\/13 -complete) [Rating: <span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">8<\/span>] (Paranormal)<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; was reading the Sookie books as soon as they came out until I got completely fed up and quit the series after 2009&#8217;s <em>Dead and Gone<\/em>. Every single male characters falling in love with Sookie was just&#8230; ugh.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-right\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/notreally\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Seventy-Seven-Clocks.jpg?resize=180%2C300&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Seventy Seven Clocks\" width=\"180\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/282\"><em>Kitty and the Midnight Hour<\/em><\/a> (2005) <a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/Books\/authors\/vaughnc.php\">Carrie Vaughn<\/a><\/h5>\n<p>(Kitty Norville #1\/16 -complete) (reread) [Avg Rating: <span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">7.5<\/span>] (Urban Fantasy)<\/p>\n<p>This was another series I pre-ordered and read as soon as it came out&#8211;until the final book, which I put off reading for several years.<\/p>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/296\"><em>Seventy-Seven Clocks<\/em><\/a> (2005) <a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/Books\/mystery\/fowlerc.html\">Christopher Fowler<\/a><\/h5>\n<p>(Bryant and May #3\/18) [Rating: <span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">7<\/span>] (Mystery, Police)<\/p>\n<p>I picked this up on a whim and then went back to read the earlier books. Grandmom quite enjoyed these books.<\/p>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/169\"><em>For Camelot\u2019s Honor<\/em><\/a> (2005) <a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/Books\/authors\/zettel.php\">Sarah Zettel<\/a><\/h5>\n<p>(Paths to Camelot #2\/4 -complete) (reread) [Avg Rating: <span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">7<\/span>] (Historical Fantasy)<\/p>\n<p>I loved the first book so much that the second ended up being a little bit of a let down.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-right\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/notreally\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Wheres-My-Cow.png?resize=229%2C300&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Wheres My Cow\" width=\"229\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/304\"><em>The Good, The Bad, and the Undead<\/em><\/a> \u00a0(2005) <a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/Books\/authors\/harrisonk.php\">Kim Harrison<\/a><\/h5>\n<p>(Rachel Morgan #2\/18 -ongoing) [Rating: <span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">7<\/span>]<\/p>\n<p>Michael kept up with this series longer than I did; I dropped off in 2008, not because it was bad, but more there were other things I wanted to read more.<\/p>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/255\"><em>Dead Beat<\/em><\/a> (2005) <a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/Books\/authors\/butcherj.php\">Jim Butcher<\/a><\/h5>\n<p>(Dresden Files #7\/18 -ongoing) [Rating: <span style=\"color: #ffff99;\">7<\/span>] (Supernatural Fantasy)<\/p>\n<p>I dropped this series completely when I heard the next book ended in a major character death. I realized this was one of those series where the main character just gets stronger and stronger and stronger. I don&#8217;t mind characters learning and become more talented, but I dislike it when characters suddenly have more power to deal with problems rather than using wit and teamwork.<\/p>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/93\"><em>Cold Service<\/em><\/a> (2005) <a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/Books\/mystery\/parkerrb.php\">Robert B. Vaughan<\/h5>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/219\"><em>The First Hundred Days<\/em><\/a> (2005) [Rating<span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">: 7<\/span>], <a href=\"https:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/227\">Vol 2: Tag<\/a> (2005)\u00a0 [Rating: <span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">7<\/span>] ( \/10 -complete) (Science Fiction)<\/p>\n<p>I picked this up because it intrigued me, and kept reading for the same reason.<\/p>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/klishis.com\/Books\/comics\/runaways.php\">Runaways<\/a>:<em> Vol 4<\/em>: <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2ihSEty\"><em>True Believers<\/em><\/a> (2005) Brian K Vaughan, Adrian Alphona, Craig Yeung<\/h5>\n<p>[Rating: <span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">7<\/span>] (Marvel Superhero)<\/p>\n<p>I loved the first seven books of this series, then got mad after a writer change and stopped reading.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m simply going to note these last two, with no links or further commentary<\/p>\n<p><em>Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince<\/em> (2005) J.K.
