{"id":2005,"date":"2008-02-13T22:15:05","date_gmt":"2008-02-14T03:15:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/klishis.com\/notreally\/archives\/2005"},"modified":"2008-02-13T22:15:05","modified_gmt":"2008-02-14T03:15:05","slug":"reviewedededed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/klishis.com\/notreally\/archives\/2005","title":{"rendered":"Reviewedededed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have to say that I am sorely disappointed in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brainofshawn.com\/2008\/02\/13\/review-recursion\/\">Shawn&#8217;s review of a review of his review<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" align=\"right\" alt=\"penguin\" id=\"image2006\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/notreally\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/02\/penguin.jpeg?ssl=1\" \/>Shawn&#8217;s review review lacked the substance that I&#8217;ve come to expect from his commentary, and instead did little more than tell us that a review of his review existed.<\/p>\n<p>When I read a review of a review, I want to know the nitty gritty: what was exceptional about the review&#8211;either exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. There wasn&#8217;t even any mention of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scalzi.com\/whatever\/2007\/07\/03\/hey_kids_lets_grade_ben_myers.html\">hideous arse candles<\/a>. I really expect any negative review of a review to contain at least a side reference to them.<\/p>\n<p>And not only was there not a video of this review, but there weren&#8217;t even any pictures, displaying the strengths and weaknesses of the review to be reviewed. All we got was a lousy smiley?! UNACCEPTABLE!<\/p>\n<p>This review lacked the wit and charisma that I&#8217;ve come to expect from a man who gives his wife five hot water bottles for Valentine&#8217;s Day.<br \/>\nShawn, I expect better of you in the future.<\/p>\n<p><br clear=\"all\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Also: TAKE YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICINE!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have to say that I am sorely disappointed in Shawn&#8217;s review of a review of his review.
