Some specific exclusions are listed below. The following services are not covered:<br \/>\n1. Aqua therapy.<br \/>\n&#8230; blah blah blah &#8230;<br \/>\n29. Medical equipment, appliances or supplies of the following types:<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 augmentative communication devices.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 bathroom scales.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 educational equipment.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 environmental control equipment such as air conditioners, humidifiers or dehumidifiers, air cleaners or<br \/>\nfilters, portable heaters, or dust extractors.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 equipment or supplies which are primarily for patient comfort or convenience, such as bathtub lifts or<br \/>\nseats; massage devices; elevators; stair lifts; escalators; hydraulic van or car lifts; orthopedic mattresses;<br \/>\nwalking canes with seats; trapeze bars; child strollers; lift chairs; recliners; contour chairs; adjustable<br \/>\nbeds; or tilt stands.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 equipment which is widely available over the counter such as wrist stabilizers and knee supports.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 exercise equipment such as exercycles; parallel bars; walking, climbing or skiing machines.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 hearing aids.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 hygienic equipment such as bed baths, commodes, and toilet seats.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 motorized scooters.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 nutritional supplements, food liquidizers or food processors.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 orthopedic shoes, unless attached to a brace.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 over-the-door and\/or gravity traction.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 professional medical equipment such as blood pressure kits or stethoscopes.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 supplies such as tape, alcohol, Q-tips\/swabs, gauze, bandages, thermometers, aspirin, diapers (adult or<br \/>\ninfant), heating pads or ice bags.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 vibrators.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 whirlpool pumps or equipment.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 wigs or wig styling.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I actually said &#8220;WHA?&#8221; when I read that.
