{"id":2312,"date":"2008-06-22T15:42:37","date_gmt":"2008-06-22T19:42:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/klishis.com\/notreally\/?p=2312"},"modified":"2008-08-17T16:07:44","modified_gmt":"2008-08-17T20:07:44","slug":"flower-pr0n-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/klishis.com\/notreally\/archives\/2312","title":{"rendered":"Flower Pr0n"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For some reason, I haven&#8217;t been able to get many good pictures of the flowers currently in bloom.<\/p>\n<p>Part of that is because it&#8217;s been raining so much, but another part is that masses of flowers seem harder for me to photograph than a single flower. <\/p>\n<p>Ah well.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/random_michelle\/2593409719\/\" title=\"Lavender by Random Michelle K, on Flickr\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3245\/2593409719_38dbac6741.jpg?resize=427%2C500\" width=\"427\" height=\"500\" alt=\"Lavender\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I must have taken 40 shots, trying to get some hot bee on flower action. But alas, this is one of the only pictures that turned out half decently, and there&#8217;s not a bee to be seen.<\/p>\n<p>But it is nice to see all the bees and butterflies hanging around.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/random_michelle\/2593412351\/\" title=\"Coreopsis by Random Michelle K, on Flickr\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3268\/2593412351_a65b569522.jpg?resize=500%2C376\" width=\"500\" height=\"376\" alt=\"Coreopsis\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is a different cultivar of coreopsis. I love how the greenery pretty much wipes out anything (weeds!) around it.<\/p>\n<p>Although these too may need thinned lest they take over. After two years of nothing, a hydrangea bloom! It will get bluer as it grows. This is WV after all, and we&#8217;ve got nothing if not acidic soil.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/random_michelle\/2601724948\/\" title=\"Astilbe by Random Michelle K, on Flickr\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3225\/2601724948_fcc9df2f37.jpg?resize=431%2C500\" width=\"431\" height=\"500\" alt=\"Astilbe\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Astilbe. This seems to be doing much better since I moved it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/random_michelle\/2600903997\/\" title=\"Day lily by Random Michelle K, on Flickr\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3150\/2600903997_0141eba0de.jpg?resize=500%2C376\" width=\"500\" height=\"376\" alt=\"Day lily\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Daylily. This is only a single bloomer, so I have to enjoy it while I can. I&#8217;m also going to see if I can fix the overly blue color cast with photoshop.
