I’m clearing space on the bookshelves, so I’m getting rid of books. Here’s the first group. If you are interested in any of these books either post a comment or e-mail me. If you’re taking a lot of books, my only request is that you pay for shipping.<\/p>\n

I’ve got several series, and I’d prefer to give them away together instead of piecing them out, since that’s far more convenient for me. <\/p>\n

Anne Perry: Thomas and Charlotte Pitt series. I’m keeping the Monk series, but don’t have the desired to read this series again. All paperback.<\/p>\n

Candace Robb: Owen Archer mysteries. I read and liked these. One paperback, three hardback.<\/p>\n

\"Mysteries_0002\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Lee Harris: Christine Bennett mysteries. I picked these up used for my grandmother, and she enjoyed them. I never felt in the mood to read them and now I want more space on my shelves.<\/p>\n

Faye Kellerman: Peter Drecker and Rina Lazarus mysteries. Bought these used for my grandmother, and she really liked them. Never felt in the mood to read them myself.<\/p>\n

Stuart M. Kaminsky: Toby Peters mysteries. Bought these for my grandmother to read. Can’t remember what she thought about them.<\/strike><\/p>\n

Alan Gordan: Jester series. Picked these up. Never felt in the mood to read them. Grandmom read them, but never gave an opinion.<\/p>\n

Lyn Hamilton: Archeological Mysteries. Never read ’em. Never got an opinion from my grandmother.<\/p>\n

Lawrence Block: Bernie Rhodnbarr series. Someone recommended these as a series Grandmom might like. Can’t remember what she thought, but I never got in the mood to read ’em.<\/strike><\/p>\n

William X. Kienzle: Father Koesler Mysteries. Picked these up as recommended for Grandmom. Never was in the mood to read ’em.<\/p>\n

Nancy Taylor Rosenberg: Mitigating Circumstances, Interest of Justice, First Offense, Trial by Fire. Picked these up. Put ’em down. Picked ’em up. Put ’em down. Grandmom read ’em, I never did.<\/p>\n

Ngaio Marsh: Inspector Roderick Alleyn. Picked these up for Grandmom. Never read ’em myself.<\/s><\/p>\n

\"Mysteries_0012\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Victoria Thompson<\/a>: Murder on Astor place. Good, but the heroine felt out of (her historical) time, so I never had the inclination to read more in this series.<\/p>\n

Donna Leon<\/a>: A Venetian Reckoning. I love Donna Leon’s mysteries, as does my grandmother. I was excited to read this book until I discovered it was actually a book I’d already read, Death and Judgment, under a different title. Grr…<\/p>\n

Deanna Raybourn<\/a>: Silent in the Grave. Stupid heroine syndrome. And a heroine that clearly didn’t belong in the Victorian era.<\/p>\n

Eliot Pattison: Water Touching Stone. No idea where this book came from.<\/p>\n

Edna Buchanan: The Corpse Had a Familiar Face. This book actually moved more than once, and I never bothered to read it. Goodbye.<\/p>\n

\"Mysteries_0013\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Kate Mosse<\/a>: Labyrinth. A New York Times Best Seller. No idea why. Trade paperback.<\/p>\n

Tasha Alexander<\/a>: And Only to Deceive. Miscategorized as “A Novel of Suspense. Not really. This is a Victorian romance. Not my cup of tea, though my grandmother really liked it. Hardback.<\/p>\n

Naked Came the Phoenix. I’d probably have read this if it wasn’t hardback.<\/p>\n

Murder and Other Acts of Literature. Again, if this was paperback I’d probably have read it.<\/p>\n
