So if you’re a recipient, keep an eye out.

I still, however, have plenty of books in the basement, so if you want more, here’s what’s left:

Fantasy
LA Meyer: Bloody Jack. This is an interesting kids book that I liked–but not enough to read the rest of the series. There’s kissing (ew!) but nothing more.
Deborah Christian: Truthsayer’s Apprentice
N. Lee Wood: Bloodrights
Kristen Kathryn Rusch: The White Mists of Power. I enjoyed this book, but not enough to read again.
Elizabeth Ann Scarborough: The Godmother
SD Tower: The Assassins of Tamurin. I liked this book, but no interest in re-reading it.
Donna Gillespie: The Light Bearer

Stephen R Lawhead: Byzantium. I could not for the life of me get into this book.
Kim Wilkins: Autumn Castle
Lynn Abbey: The Wooden Sword
Mary Gentle: A Secret History, The Book of Ash #1
Gordon R Dickson: The Earthlords
Storm Constantine: The Crown of Silence
Robin Wayne Bailey: Shadowdance
Sarah Monette: Melusine. Started this book and put it down because there are heavy sadism overtones. Not for me.

Fantasy series

Diana Marcellas: Mother Ocean Daughter Sea, The Sea Lark’s Song
Fiona Patton: The Stone Prince, Painter Knight
Elizabeth Kerner: Song in the Silence, The Lesser Kindred
Elizabeth Gilligan: Magic’s Silken Snare, The Silken Shroud
Mindy L. Klasky: The Glasswrights series. Started the first book. Never got any further. Michael however enjoyed this series.
Mercedes Lackey: various books in the Valdemar series. One hardback, the rest paperback.

Mystery series

Anne Perry: Thomas and Charlotte Pitt series. I’m keeping the Monk series, but don’t have the desired to read this series again. All paperback.
Candace Robb: Owen Archer mysteries. I read and liked these. One paperback, three hardback.
Lee Harris: Christine Bennett mysteries. I picked these up used for my grandmother, and she enjoyed them.
Faye Kellerman: Peter Drecker and Rina Lazarus mysteries. Bought these used for my grandmother, and she really liked them.
Alan Gordan: Jester series. Grandmom read them, but never gave an opinion.
Lyn Hamilton: Archeological Mysteries. Never read ’em. Never got an opinion from my grandmother.
William X. Kienzle: Father Koesler Mysteries. Picked these up as recommended for Grandmom, who really enjoyed them.
Nancy Taylor Rosenberg: Mitigating Circumstances, Interest of Justice, First Offense, Trial by Fire.

Mystery

Victoria Thompson: Murder on Astor place. Good, but the heroine felt out of (her historical) time, so I never had the inclination to read more in this series.
Deanna Raybourn: Silent in the Grave. Stupid heroine syndrome. And a heroine that clearly didn’t belong in the Victorian era.
Eliot Pattison: Water Touching Stone.
Edna Buchanan: The Corpse Had a Familiar Face. This book actually moved more than once, and I never bothered to read it. Goodbye.

Kate Mosse: Labyrinth. A New York Times Best Seller. No idea why. Trade paperback.
Tasha Alexander: And Only to Deceive. Miscategorized as “A Novel of Suspense. Not suspenseful. This is a Victorian romance. Not my cup of tea, though my grandmother really liked it. Hardback.
Naked Came the Phoenix. I’d probably have read this if it wasn’t hardback.
Murder and Other Acts of Literature. Again, if this was paperback I’d probably have read it.

Books went out today. So if you’re a recipient, keep an eye out.
