Or more accurately, didn&#8217;t feel up to making a pie crust. I have got to start freezing pie dough for situations such as these.<\/p>\n<p>So I browsed some recipes and found an apple crumble recipe that looked pretty good.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Apple Crumble<\/strong><br \/>\nFilling:<br \/>\n3 pounds apples*<br \/>\n1\/4 cup apple cider<br \/>\n2 tbsp melted butter<br \/>\n2 tbsp rum<br \/>\n3\/4 cup brown sugar<br \/>\n1 tsp cinnamon<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp nutmeg **<br \/>\n1\/4 ginger<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp salt<br \/>\n3 tbsp flour<\/p>\n<p>Topping:<br \/>\n1\/2 cup flour<br \/>\n1\/2 cup oats ***<br \/>\n1\/2 cup brown sugar<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp cinnamon<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp salt<br \/>\n3\/4 tsp baking powder<br \/>\n1 stick cold butter<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 350 F.
