Of course, I love them with walnuts and cream cheese icing, which are Right Out for Grandmom, so we I made plain ones.<\/p>\n<p>Which are still really good.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cinnamon Rolls<\/strong><br \/>\nDough:<br \/>\n3 1\/2 cups white wheat flour<br \/>\n2 tsp yeast<br \/>\n3 tbsp sugar<br \/>\n2 tbsp dry milk<br \/>\n1 1\/4 tsp salt<br \/>\n1 large egg plus water to make one cup liquid<br \/>\n1 tsp vanilla extract<br \/>\n2 tbsp softened butter<br \/>\nFilling:<br \/>\n1\/4 cup softened butter<br \/>\n3\/4 cup brown sugar<br \/>\n1 tbsp cinnamon (3 tsp if you tbsp doesn&#8217;t fit in the jar)<br \/>\nIcing:<br \/>\n2 tbsp half and half<br \/>\n1 cup confectioners sugar<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/random_michelle\/4043603836\/\" title=\"Cinnamon Rolls by Random Michelle K, on Flickr\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2626\/4043603836_b287163792.jpg?resize=500%2C333\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" alt=\"Cinnamon Rolls\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I wasn&#8217;t thrilled with the way the dough was made. If I make it again I believe I&#8217;d proof the yeast as part of the process. As it was the directions had you simply mix everything together to form a smooth soft dough. Next time I&#8217;d proof the yeast in part of the water, then add in the remainder of the ingredients together.<\/p>\n<p>Place the dough in a large greased bowl, over, and then allow to rise for at least an hour. I didn&#8217;t follow the directions at all here.
