The thing about bourbon balls is you need to make them ahead of time and let them sit. CRUSH! CRUSH! CRUSH! \" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dump all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl. This is a good time to make the second batch of &#8220;dough&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Form dough into small balls. Roll balls in powdered sugar. Place bourbon balls into waxed paper lined tin, placing a layer of waxed paper between each layer.<\/p>\n<p>Place tins aside for several weeks.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/random_michelle\/4164379307\/\" title=\"Bourbon Balls by Random Michelle K, on Flickr\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2544\/4164379307_2a3f6a100b.jpg?resize=500%2C333\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" alt=\"Bourbon Balls\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In theory, you can use stale\/toasted cake instead of vanilla wafers, but I never have stale cake on hand.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m serious about setting them aside for several weeks.
