Except, I used bourbon instead of scotch, because bourbon is what I have in the house.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Butterscotch Pudding<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup unsalted butter<br \/>\n1\/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed<br \/>\n1 1\/2 cups whole milk<br \/>\n2 tablespoons cornstarch<br \/>\n8 egg yolks<br \/>\npinch salt<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon vanilla extract<br \/>\n1 tablespoon bourbon or scotch<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/random_michelle\/6811277000\/\" title=\"Butterscotch Pudding by Random Michelle, on Flickr\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7054\/6811277000_a16cdff188.jpg?resize=500%2C333\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" alt=\"Butterscotch Pudding\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nMelt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
