I love aquariums. Every time we visit Cincinnati, we have to visit Newport Aquarium<\/a>. And we used to visit at least once a year. So I was looking forward to seeing the Georgia Aquarium<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nFor the most part, I LOVED the Georgia Aquarium. The exhibits were large, and mimicked the habitat of whatever fish were displayed. Also, many of the tanks went floor to ceiling, which meant that children could see into the tanks without having to be lifted up by their parents. Which is pretty brilliant.<\/p>\n

They had tanks where you went through the tank and the fish swam over–the biggest tunnel actually had a moving sidewalk, so you could stand still, look up, and still see different parts of the tank (it also kept crowds moving through).<\/p>\n

It (of course) had exhibits of jellies, but they had fewer jellies than Newport, and the Newport Exhibit is better. But I still went back three times to watch the jellies.<\/p>\n

But the best part was the side view of large tank. It had manta rays and whale sharks and was both huge and amazing.<\/p>\n

Again, it was brilliant in that the view was floor to ceiling, so even toddlers could see an unimpeded view.<\/p>\n
