I’ve been wanting to re-read this series for awhile, but the ebooks never go in sale, and the library doesn’t have any of the books I want to re-read earlier in the series. At a loss for what to read after finishing all the Patricia Briggs book, I decided to borrow the oldest Kate Shugak book the library had: A Deeper Sleep.<\/p>\n

This is NOT an action\/adventure kind of mystery. Which was a problem because I prefer to listen to action-packed books since they keep me exercising \/ doing chores just a little bit longer, so I can listen to just a little bit more.<\/p>\n

But since I started it, I decided to finish it. It was the end that reminded me why, despite the lack of action, this book was so good.<\/p>\n

I’m not sure I want to listen to another book–it’s just not the right kind of story for my listening needs–but now I really want to go back and re-read some more of these stories.<\/p>\n

Let me be clear, I didn’t have any issues with the narration or the narrator. It was very good. This just wasn’t the kind of book that works as well as I want for the kind of listening I do.<\/p>\n
