Nightingale’s Lament<\/em>, Audio Edition<\/a> (2004\/2008) Simon R Green<\/a> narrated by Marc Vietor<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Because I like to make things difficult for myself, while Michael and I are listening to the Felix Castor series in the car, my exercise \/ baking \/ cooking series is Simon Green’s Nightside.<\/p>\n

Both have a smart-ass protagonist who wears a long coat (trench coat in the case of John Taylor) and gets into supernatural trouble. And both narrators have lowish voices that sound somewhat similar to me (ie British accent).<\/p>\n

It’s not a problem, but it does take me a minute to remember what I’m listening to.<\/p>\n

This is the third Nightside book, and John’s mother is starting to come up more and more often.<\/p>\n
