The Pill Bugs of Time<\/a><\/em> (2016) Angel Martinez<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>This is the second half of Kyle and Vikash’s story, told from Vikash’s POV. <\/p>\n

Why are these two characters fun? Because they are ridiculously geeky–and proud of it.<\/p>\n

\u201cShould get an Odo bucket,\u201d Vikash murmured.<\/p>\n

\u201cA what?\u201d <\/p>\n

Kyle chuckled into his coffee. \u201cSeriously, Carr? You never watched Deep Space Nine?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But it’s not all geekiness and boinking. I do like the other characters, even if they appear only briefly.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll right, people.\u201d Lieutenant Dunfee shook her head. \u201cI have two officers on medical, one close to collapse and the rest of you look like crap.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cWell, thank you for that.\u201d Carrington sniffed in offense from his corner. <\/p>\n

\u201cIf we try to solve this tonight, we\u2019re asking for disaster. Everyone get the hell out of my building. We\u2019ll start again in the morning.\u201d She pointed toward the shadowed back wall. \u201cExcept Loveless, who wants to be a smartass.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

HOWEVER.<\/p>\n

If this story wasn’t the conclusion of the first book, I would NOT have read it.<\/p>\n

Because I DESPISE time travel stories.<\/p>\n

I’m not kidding.<\/p>\n

I really REALLY hate time travel stories, and about the only thing that made this tolerable is that they characters traveled in their minds. Mostly.<\/p>\n

But I did like the conclusion of Kyle & Vikash’s story.
