\"Murder<\/a>HOORAY! A cozy mystery!<\/p>\n

Ellery Page was surprised to inherit a bookstore and home from a great-aunt he didn’t even know he had, but he wanted to make a new start for himself, so he’s trying to make it work. Unfortunately, work is what it’s going to take, since the bookstore isn’t making money (and Ellery knows nothing about selling books) and the house is falling apart around him.<\/p>\n

It’s even worse when the man who was trying to force Ellery to sell his shop shows up dead–in the bookstore.<\/p>\n

On the one hand, it was nice to experience a profitable day. On the other hand, Scene of the Crime was probably not a sustainable business model.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Even worse, the sheriff has Ellery as his primary suspect.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou talked to my agent<\/em>?\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cThat actually worked to your benefit because according to Ms. Samuelson, you\u2019re a phenomenally terrible actor.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ellery doesn’t know what’s going on, but it seems like someone is trying to make him look like the murderer.<\/p>\n

This is a cozy mystery, as I said, with an LGBT protagonist, and a hint of romance. It was precisely what I needed to read.<\/p>\n
