Love in 24 Frames<\/a><\/em> (2019) C.S. Poe<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Love<\/a>Declan Groves is a CPA who loves art, and rented a space in a studio to have the space to work on his stop-motion project.<\/p>\n

When one thinks of a \u201cNew York City artist,\u201d they don\u2019t envision a forty-eight-year-old man in a three-piece suit, strolling through the door at seven o\u2019clock after a long day of being an accountant.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He is also in love with the front-desk receptionist at the studio–even if he’s unable to say anything or make a move.<\/p>\n

This is a very sweet short story. Declan is a bit of an awkward geek and his crush, Shota, works hard at multiple jobs. They’re just adorable.<\/p>\n

\u201cI promise I\u2019m not a creep.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cDoes your niece say that too?\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cShe teaches me all the hip lingo.\u201d <\/p>\n

Shota grinned. <\/p>\n

\u201cNo one says \u2018hip\u2019 anymore,\u201d I stated, mostly to myself.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This was a lovely little escape, and although there is kissing, there is no boinking!<\/p>\n
