\"Joy\"Another book I re-read becuase I needed more fluffy happy.<\/p>\n

Gideon Joy has bad luck. <\/p>\n

This time his bad luck is a moose. That he runs into with his car as he’s passing through a small town.<\/p>\n

I ran a hand through my hair and then pushed up my glasses. \u201cI don\u2019t have insurance.\u201d <\/p>\n

Please don\u2019t beat the shit out of me for totaling our cars<\/em>. <\/p>\n

The stranger didn\u2019t respond, instead only looked at his car and rubbed his bristled jaw. <\/p>\n

\u201cDo you?\u201d I asked. <\/p>\n

Still no answer. <\/p>\n

\u201cHey,\u201d I prodded. <\/p>\n

He turned. \u201cDoesn\u2019t cover noninsured motorists.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cGreat,\u201d I stated.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So Gideon will be in town for awhile.<\/p>\n

It’s just a very sweet story, with delightful side characters.<\/p>\n

I noticed over his shoulder that several of the other construction guys were watching us with varying levels of interest. <\/p>\n

That was odd. <\/p>\n

\u201cSo I\u2019m going to leave,\u201d I stated. <\/p>\n

Silas cleared his throat. \u201cThank you for lunch.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cSure.\u201d <\/p>\n

The guys muttered and exchanged a few dollar bills between one another.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
