It’s also fun.<\/p>\n

Many family dinners throughout my childhood were filled with ramblings on taxes being too high or the current king spending too much money on mistresses and trebuchets.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ruby’s father snuck into a demon’s territory and stole some ore (because they king was hoarding it all). Unfortunately, the demon cursed the ore, and now they can’t sell any of the cursed swords.<\/p>\n

It turned out even the most zealous doomsday prepper wasn\u2019t too keen on a battle-ax shouting sex jokes at all hours of the day.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So, fox shifter, daughter of a blacksmith, talking sword.<\/p>\n

There was also a lot of sex, which, whatever, but the world building is just delightful.<\/p>\n
