There is something about this book that just calms me. Makes me happy.<\/p>\n

It’s low-stakes, and funny.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s not from around here,\u201d Nancy said to a guy at the counter who started laughing.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I noticed over his shoulder that several of the other construction guys were watching us with varying levels of interest. <\/p>\n

That was odd. <\/p>\n

\u201cSo I\u2019m going to leave,\u201d I stated. <\/p>\n

Silas cleared his throat. \u201cThank you for lunch.\u201d <\/p>\n
