Color of You<\/a><\/em> (2017) C.S. Poe<\/a> (A Lancaster Story)<\/p>\n

\"Color<\/a>I think I finally figured out why this is my least favorite story in this series. Although it has a mystery (good!) and I adore the characters (good!) the dynamic between the couple isn’t standard (good!) and the misunderstandings are … understandable, something has always felt off about this story.<\/p>\n

I decided it’s because everything works out too well, too perfectly.<\/p>\n

And the characters other stories appear, and it’s just… it’s a lot. And it makes it feel improbable.<\/p>\n

That said, I do really enjoy the story. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhat\u2019re the odds of me keeping all my fingers?\u201d I asked Alan. <\/p>\n

\u201cI dunno. Have you used a hacksaw before?\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cNo.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cProbably not that good, then,\u201d Alan answered.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cHey,\u201d I said, flipping through the printed-out emails. \u201cWhat\u2019s up? These emails are from himself to himself.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cYup,\u201d Stephen laughed. \u201cHe literally typed up a story and mailed it to himself.\u201d <\/p>\n
