\"Evil<\/a>There’s just something about an over-the-top supernatural police procedural.<\/p>\n

Pretend that there’s a file folder somewhere, a big, thick one, labeled Real Bad Ideas. There’s at least three things I can think of that belong in there \u2013 inviting a werewolf for a moonlight stroll, telling a witch she’s got a fat ass, and pissing off an ogre.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“That doesn’t apply to supernaturals, of course.” <\/p>\n

“How come?” Karl asked. <\/p>\n

“Because the distinctions aren’t as clear. For instance, do you consider a vampire who kills people a serial killer, or just hungry?”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And there are delightful tidbits dropped in as throw-away lines.<\/p>\n

one of the women actually tried to assassinate President Ford. But somebody in the crowd grabbed the gun away before Betty could take a bullet.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
