They\u2019d walked miles with him, singly or together, and when they\u2019d been able to form a bubble with Adam\u2019s mum, she\u2019d volunteered to take him out.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And the pandemic plays a key part in the mystery.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m now caught up on this series, and again, the stories are solidly fine. But something about them worked extremely well as comfort reads for me, and for that, I appreciate them.<\/p>\n<p>Except fir this book, and it had absolutely nothing to do with the story and everything to do with me, but I almost stopped reading when the body was discovered, as it brought to mind memories and fears and worries. <\/p>\n<p>But I skimmed and got past that section, and it turned back into a comfort read.<\/p>\n<p>Publisher: Riptide Publishing<\/p>\n<p>Cover Art by L.C.
