A young actress has been found horribly murdered, in St Matthews of the Fields’ Lady Chapel, and a deuling pistol with Viscount Devlin’s device on the trigger guard.<\/p>\n

I am so far behind on this series–I don’t think I’ve read a new release since the pandemic–but the series is up to book 19 now, and that is a lot of rereading. <\/p>\n

So I finally started listening to the series.<\/p>\n

Davina Porter is fine as a narrator, but she’s not like the narrators of books that have come out more recently. Its not bad–not at all–but I’ve been spoiled by some of my favorite narrators tend to expect more out of my audio books.<\/p>\n
